Canadel

The Canadel Story

Inspired by you, made for you. Canadel Inc. is a family-owned company that believes in manufacturing products that are hand-assembled and hand-finished in North America, employing over 700 skilled professionals. Canadel’s furnishings are made from solid birch from North American forests, and each piece is made following the highest quality standards of the industry. Since 1982, the Canadel vision has endured: to offer personalized products tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer’s home.

Why Canadel?

Every day, Canadel takes actions to reduce its environmental impact by purchasing locally, recycling dyes, paint, and solvents and using packaging made from recycled fibers. All cardboard packaging is made from recycled fibers and all paint residues are distilled and reused in production. Additionally, all of the solid birch comes from North American forests and are manufactured locally according to environmentally friendly processes. We are happy to announce that we carry Canadel furnishings!

What to Expect

Canadel has always considered wood as a noble material, and that is reflected in the final quality of all of their products. Through the phases of production, the company maintains a respect for nature in the many years that have gone into growing the wood they use. To protect the wood, a catalyzed coating made of synthetic lacquers modified with nitrocellulose is applied. This combination produces a finish that is highly resistant to marking and staining.
